The Argyle A history rich in caring for the community first started in 1874, when the Ladies Relief Society established a home for the elderly.

Their foresight and determination to serve the community is exemplified today in the variety of housing and care options The Argyle offers to men, women and couples. Assisted living studio units offering a la carte or all inclusive care options and independent subsidized apartment are available.

The Argyle's mission and philosophy have remained strong and consistent for more than a century. The Ladies Relief Society of Denver is dedicated to serving the community through the provision of affordable, high quality living accommodations and services to low and moderate income elderly.  We believe in encouraging independence and preserving the dignity of residents through human contact, care and nurturing.  Services are provided by caring and responsible staff at the lowest possible cost to residents while maintaining a financially sound organization.

The same committed volunteer spirit of leadership that pioneered The Ladies Relief Society in 1874 remains in place at The Argyle today.

Composed of committed community leaders and volunteers, the current Ladies Relief Society Board of Trustees continues to oversee the success of the organization and allegiance to the century-old mission. In addition, day-to-day operations are supervised by a Colorado Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a talented management team.

Operated as a private, non-profit residence, The Argyle is known as a reputable business that families and residents have trusted for quality care for more than 130 years.
